The chart below list examples of peanut free manufactured foods and peanut safe fast food places that Bo likes to eat. Bo can eat these foods without having an allergic reaction despite his severe peanut allergy. Of course, Bo also eats fruits & veggies too.
WARNING:
Ask About My Peanut Allergy site makes no statement or guarantee that these foods are safe to eat for anyone else with or without peanut allergies. Always read food labels and nutrition information carefully, every time, as manufacturers and restaurants may change ingredients and/or processing techniques. Always introduce new foods to food allergic children in small doses and in controlled situations where proper emergency medical care is available should a food allergy reaction occur. TIP: Parties are fun again now that I am in the routine of bringing a personal peanut allergy safe cooler.

Bo's Personal Peanut Allergy Safe Cooler
Perfect for traveling to birthday parties, soccer games, over to a friends, etc. Bo packs his small cooler with peanut allergy safe snacks, drinks, hand cleaners and his emergency medicines which allow us to temporarily control any possible allergic reaction ranging from hives to life-threatening anaphylaxis.
We find that 2 small frozen gel packs will keep everything cool for hours, even in the hot South Louisiana sun.
Typically his cooler has the following items to ensure a peanut allergy safe day:
- Peanut free snacks
- Emergency medicines: Benadryl Children's Perfect Measure Pre-Filled Spoons & EpiPen® (epinephrine)
- Hand cleaners
Welcome to Bo's peanut allergy desensitization treatment blog. Bo has a severe peanut allergy and is currently in a 2 year
Thanks for the great list! This will be very helpful for my son's allergy.

Just want to think Bo for his food list. It is very helpful for my son Cody, Who is a level 5 allergy to peanuts and tree nuts. We have been looking for some kind of list and thank God we finally found one.

It's hard to find candies that are peanut free and still really good. My 2 year old loves these especially: Swedish Fish, Sour Patch Kids, Starburst Jelly Beans, Mike and Ikes, Skittles and Twizzlers.
I make lots of shakes for him from the yo-yo baby yogurt and frozen or fresh fruit and he loves his Edy's real fruitcicles.
Betty Crocker's new whipped buttercream frosting also was a big hit at his birthday party.

You might want to note on the Ho Hos Chocolate Cakes by Hostess that they are only safe if made in a peanut free plant. Hostess products are produced regionally, so you have to read the production plant codes on the packages to know if they are safe.

Thank you for the information on the foods and the epipen. I had my first attack yesterday and now I have to go an allergist for screening. Until I can go I was told to watch what I eat and READ LABELS! So now there is soo much I have to learn and I just turned 50 last month . Your published page has helped me quite a bit with foods I am already familiar with. Thanx for that! I have a call into Albertson's food chain for a list of their peanut free foods or peanut used foods and see if they can help me. Apparaently they have a hired on dietitian. Well all I can say is thank you and I wish you the best! S. Sullivan
