The chart below list examples of peanut free manufactured foods and peanut safe fast food places that Bo likes to eat. Bo can eat these foods without having an allergic reaction despite his severe peanut allergy. Of course, Bo also eats fruits & veggies too.
WARNING:Ask About My Peanut Allergy site makes no statement or guarantee that these foods are safe to eat for anyone else with or without peanut allergies. Always read food labels and nutrition information carefully, every time, as manufacturers and restaurants may change ingredients and/or processing techniques. Always introduce new foods to food allergic children in small doses and in controlled situations where proper emergency medical care is available should a food allergy reaction occur. TIP: Parties are fun again now that I am in the routine of bringing a personal peanut allergy safe cooler.

Bo's Personal Peanut Allergy Safe Cooler
Perfect for traveling to birthday parties, soccer games, over to a friends, etc. Bo packs his small cooler with peanut allergy safe snacks, drinks, hand cleaners and his emergency medicines which allow us to temporarily control any possible allergic reaction ranging from hives to life-threatening anaphylaxis.
We find that 2 small frozen gel packs will keep everything cool for hours, even in the hot South Louisiana sun.
Typically his cooler has the following items to ensure a peanut allergy safe day:
- Peanut free snacks
- Emergency medicines: Benadryl Children's Perfect Measure Pre-Filled Spoons & EpiPen® (epinephrine)
- Hand cleaners

We are harvesters and processors of American pine nuts and I am often asked about peanuts products at our farm. While we handle no peanut products - strictly american pine nuts, I was not sure if pine nuts were a safe food for people with peanut alergies. Would anyone know?
